Memento Mori Coin

Memento Mori, and its philosophical counterpart Memento Vivere, is an artistic trope used to portray the precious impermanence of human life. Often associated with flowers, coffins, hourglasses and of course skulls. The latin translation for Memento Mori is “Remember that you must die” while “Memento Vivere” means Remember to live. These high quality limited edition coins feature an embossed images on both sides. The Mori side features a front on skull with an axe on its brow, surrounded by ancient shields, spears and skulls. The vivere side features a skull in profile, enbrased by budding leaves, with a chalice of life on its brow.
